To help ensure the health and safety of both customers and employees, You Doll You has introduced important procedural changes. These changes affect nearly every part of a typical visit to the salon and will be strictly enforced. We urge you to read each item carefully below. Having a clear understanding of these changes before you arrive will make your visit more relaxing and safer for all.
Masks, Gloves and Face Shields
Both customers and employees are required to wear a properly fitting face mask while inside You Doll You. Lash stylists will also be wearing gloves and face shields in addition to face masks.

Reducing Salon Capacity
You Doll You includes over 1800 square feet of service space. Even though our normal capacity is still within California guidelines for safe distancing, we will go further. We will be limiting work to as few stations as possible, and always maintaining private rooms for each customer.
Health Self-Certification Required
All employees and customers must self-certify their current health status by answering questions at this webpage: youdollyou.com/healthcheck
This must be done A) on the day of the visit before arriving, and then B) renewed for each subsequent visit. If we do not show that a customer or employee has completed this survey on that day, we will ask that this be completed before entry. If there is indication of ill health or exposure to an ill person, the customer or employee will be directed to cancel their visit and contact their health care professional.
In addition, all employees of You Doll You are committed to a weekly schedule of COVID19 testing.
Reception Sitting Area is Closed
Each customer will be asked to text to us from their car upon their arrival, and then await a reply stating that their stylist is ready for them. Only then is a customer clear to enter. No customer will be allowed to wait for their appointment in the reception area. Friends, family members, and drivers will not be allowed anywhere within the salon unless required for special needs.
Touchless Body Temperature Check
All employees and customers will be tested for body temperature via touchless device upon entry. Any customer presenting a body temperature of 99.6˚ or above will be asked to reschedule. Any employee with an elevated temperature will be asked to return home.
Touch Surfaces & Tools
Each service bed’s vinyl covering will be covered with a clean cover or towel before each appointment. All reusable tools used during lash application will continue to be sterilized between appointments as required by the California State Board of Cosmetology.

Regulating Checkout
The salon reception area will be controlled by our staff in order that a maximum of one person may check out at a time after completion of service, with a maximum of one individual waiting to check out, standing at a distance of 12 feet behind. That means that there will be not more than two customers, well distanced, in reception area at the same time. In addition, our front desk is now equipped with a plexiglass shield to help increase safety for all.

Quietly, Please
We ask that while in the salon each customer and employee refrain from speaking as much as possible. When speaking is necessary, we ask each person to use a lowered voice.
